- Blue Lobster Crayfish can grab Altum Angelfish while it sleeps — only fast mid/top-water fish are reasonably safe.
- Almost no shared temperature: Altum Angelfish wants 82–88°F and Blue Lobster Crayfish wants 65–82°F, so only 82°F suits both — too fine a margin to actually hold.
- Only a narrow pH overlap — keep both around 6.5–6.5.
- Only a narrow water hardness overlap — keep both around 5–5 dGH.
Sweet spot: both do well at 82–82°F and pH 6.5–6.5 — aim there.
