Why
- Brazos Dwarf Crayfish does not belong with Bamboo / Wood Shrimp. Puffers and crayfish are built to eat invertebrates and will take shrimp whatever the size difference — a pea puffer is smaller than an amano and still hunts it — and goldfish both harass shrimp and want cooler water. Keep them in separate tanks.
- Almost no shared temperature: Bamboo / Wood Shrimp wants 75–82°F and Brazos Dwarf Crayfish wants 65–75°F, so only 75°F suits both — too fine a margin to actually hold.
Sweet spot: both do well at 75–75°F and pH 6.5–7.5 — aim there.
