- Black Skirt Tetra is recorded as taking adult shrimp and is 2.1× the length of White Glove Shrimp. Dense cover helps and some individuals ignore them, but expect losses.
- No overlapping pH: Black Skirt Tetra wants 5.5–7.5 but White Glove Shrimp wants 7.8–8.5.
- Black Skirt Tetra will eat White Glove Shrimp shrimplets. The colony still grows if there is moss or another dense hiding place for the babies.
