- Almost no shared temperature: Cajun Dwarf Crayfish wants 65–75°F and Typhoon Pleco wants 75–84°F, so only 75°F suits both — too fine a margin to actually hold.
- Only a narrow water hardness overlap — keep both around 6–7.5 dGH.
Sweet spot: both do well at 75–75°F and pH 6.5–7.6 — aim there.
