Can Thai Devil Crab live with Blue Tiger Shrimp?

Why
- Thai Devil Crab is not on the verified shrimp-safe list, so we will not recommend it over a breeding Blue Tiger Shrimp colony. It may well be fine — it simply has not been confirmed by a source, and an unverified guess is not worth the colony.
- Thai Devil Crab hunts shrimp. Blue Tiger Shrimp is large enough to be awkward prey, but not safe.
- Almost no shared temperature: Thai Devil Crab wants 75–84°F and Blue Tiger Shrimp wants 65–75°F, so only 75°F suits both — too fine a margin to actually hold.
- No overlapping pH: Thai Devil Crab wants 7.5–8.5 but Blue Tiger Shrimp wants 5.8–7.2.
- Thai Devil Crab will eat Blue Tiger Shrimp shrimplets. The colony still grows if there is moss or another dense hiding place for the babies.
- Only a narrow water hardness overlap — keep both around 8–8 dGH.
