- Almost no shared temperature: Noble Gourami wants 64–75°F and Panther Crab wants 75–82°F, so only 75°F suits both — too fine a margin to actually hold.
- No overlapping water hardness: Noble Gourami wants 6–7 dGH but Panther Crab wants 8–15 dGH.
Sweet spot: both do well at 75–75°F and pH 7–7.6 — aim there.
