- No overlapping temperature: False Rummy Nose Tetra wants 75–82°F but Mischling / Taiwan Bee wants 68–74°F.
- False Rummy Nose Tetra is roughly twice the length of Mischling / Taiwan Bee. Adults are usually left alone in a well-planted tank, but the odd one gets taken.
- False Rummy Nose Tetra will eat Mischling / Taiwan Bee shrimplets. The colony still grows if there is moss or another dense hiding place for the babies.
