- Almost no shared temperature: Moonlight Gourami wants 77–86°F and Marbled Crayfish wants 64–77°F, so only 77°F suits both — too fine a margin to actually hold.
- Only a narrow water hardness overlap — keep both around 6–7.5 dGH.
Sweet spot: both do well at 77–77°F and pH 6.5–7.6 — aim there.
