Can Honey Gourami live with Tiger Shrimp?

Why
- Honey Gourami is one of the animals to keep away from a breeding shrimp colony — either it hunts them, or it out-competes and harasses them until the colony stops replacing itself. A Tiger Shrimp colony will not hold its numbers.
- Honey Gourami is roughly twice the length of Tiger Shrimp. Adults are usually left alone in a well-planted tank, but the odd one gets taken.
- Honey Gourami will eat Tiger Shrimp shrimplets. The colony still grows if there is moss or another dense hiding place for the babies.
Sweet spot: both do well at 72–77°F and pH 6.2–7.2 — aim there.
