- Almost no shared temperature: Pearl Gourami wants 77–82°F and Zebra Danio wants 64–77°F, so only 77°F suits both — too fine a margin to actually hold.
- Zebra Danio is a fin-nipper and will shred the long/flowing fins of Pearl Gourami.
Sweet spot: both do well at 77–77°F and pH 6.5–7.5 — aim there.
