Can Rubber Pleco (Rubbernose) live with White Glove Shrimp?

Why
- Rubber Pleco (Rubbernose) is not on the verified shrimp-safe list, so we will not recommend it over a breeding White Glove Shrimp colony. It may well be fine — it simply has not been confirmed by a source, and an unverified guess is not worth the colony.
- No overlapping pH: Rubber Pleco (Rubbernose) wants 6.5–7.5 but White Glove Shrimp wants 7.8–8.5.
- Rubber Pleco (Rubbernose) is much larger than White Glove Shrimp but is not a shrimp hunter — it may take a shrimplet or clean up a moult. Adults are safe with cover.
- Rubber Pleco (Rubbernose) will eat White Glove Shrimp shrimplets. The colony still grows if there is moss or another dense hiding place for the babies.
- Only a narrow temperature overlap — keep both around 76–77°F.
