- Scissortail Rasbora is recorded as taking adult shrimp and is 2.9× the length of White Glove Shrimp. Dense cover helps and some individuals ignore them, but expect losses.
- No overlapping pH: Scissortail Rasbora wants 6–7.5 but White Glove Shrimp wants 7.8–8.5.
- Scissortail Rasbora will eat White Glove Shrimp shrimplets. The colony still grows if there is moss or another dense hiding place for the babies.
